There is no fee to attend these programs. The Birds and Breakfast programs require registration. We cannot accommodate requests through e-mail.

Exploring Nature Series: Waterfowl Migration
Chippewa Inlet Trail (Chippewa Road Entrance) - 8:30 a.m.
March is the month to observe those wonderful ducks, geese, and swans as they pass through Ohio on their way to Canada.  In spring, the male ducks are dressed in their colorful mating plumage, which they lose before returning in the fall.  We will have spotting scopes set up for close viewing.  Please bring your bird guide, binoculars and spotting scope if you have one. This typically unseen bird provides a spectacular aerial display as part of his mating ritual.  We will attempt to catch a glimpse of this extraordinary air show at twilight along with spotlighting the male on the ground. No registration required. Free.
