The Homeschoolers Outdoor Education Series is for students ages 7 to 8 or ages 9 to 12. There is no fee to attend. Parents and younger siblings are asked to enjoy the library facility or hike the south trails while their participating children are attending the naturalist-led program. To register for these programs, call the park office at (330)722-9364, (330)225-7100 ext. 9364, or (330) 336-6657 ext 9364. All program registrations must be made via the telephone. We cannot accommodate requests through e-mail.
All programs take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Registration is required. There is no fee to attend. Students must sign up for their age group: 7-8 or 9-12.

Session one from 10 to 11:30 a.m. or Session 2 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Animals cope with winter in many different ways; some migrate, others hibernate, and some stay active. Students will have the opportunity to learn about animal strategies in coping with winter. This month we will focus on fish, reptile and amphibian strategies. Students must sign up for their age groups: ages 7 to 8 or ages 9 to 12. Register by January 11. Free.
