Many groups and individuals look for projects they can do on a more personalized level. The park district is happy to have these groups seek opportunities with us. Some of the projects that have been done in our parks include:
• Park cleanups
• Garden maintenance in an “adopted” garden
• Building of bridges
• Building of wildlife habitat stations
• Trail maintenance & construction
