Scout Projects

Serving others is an important part of the scouting movement. Projects to benefit the community or environment help scouts learn their responsibilities and that they can impact their surroundings. For young men, the Eagle Scout candidate must complete a significant project to earn his eagle rank. For young women, the Girl Scout Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. The park district has benefited from a number of scout projects at various parks throughout the years. Below are just a few examples of completed projects.
