Chippewa Lake Master Plan

Chippewa Lake

Medina County Park District (MCPD) purchased the 95-acre site of the former Chippewa Lake Amusement Park in June 2020. This site is located on the shores of Chippewa Lake, Ohio’s largest inland glacial lake, which was purchased by the park district in 2007.

In 2021, MCPD engaged OHM to help develop a master plan that included public input through meetings and surveys. The master plan to transform the site into a future public nature area is outlined below and includes short-term and long-term improvements.
