Job opening: Seasonal Steward - Natural Resources

Job description: Under the direction of the natural resource manager, assists with duties pertaining to natural resource management including: invasive plant management; aquatic management project; tree maintenance projects; park maintenance activities; operation of mowing equipment, chainsaws, tractors, and trucks; natural resource inventories (i.e., flora and fauna surveys); and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and have some experience with equipment operation.

Minimum first-year student in natural resource management, park and recreation management, wildlife management, or related field

Possess and maintain a valid Ohio motor vehicle operator’s license with an insurable/acceptable driving record

Hourly rate: $16/hour
Monday - Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Total hours: 575
